Comfort became the first design rule.
We were tired of thobes that looked beautiful on a hanger but felt restrictive the moment they were worn. Tight collars. Heavy fabrics. Stiff cuts. Clothing that made you count the hours until you could change into something comfortable.
Our first V-Neck Thobe was created from a simple idea: freedom. Freedom to move. Freedom to breathe. Freedom to feel completely at ease while still looking refined, confident and contemporary.
That philosophy still guides everything we create.
Our locally designed collection begins as sketches, conversations and ideas before becoming garments in the hands of skilled South African craftsmen. Every fabric is chosen with intention. Every silhouette is refined until it feels effortless. Every detail is questioned until it earns its place.
Alongside it sits our Moroccan collection - authentic garments sourced from Morocco itself. They carry generations of craftsmanship, heritage and culture that deserve to be experienced exactly as they were intended. We bring them to South Africa because true luxury should also tell a story.
Many of the men who wear Thobed never wore thobes before. They thought thobes were too traditional, too restrictive, too far removed from everyday life. Then they discovered clothing that felt current without losing its dignity, comfortable without looking casual, and distinctive without demanding attention.
We are not trying to reinvent modesty. We are reimagining the thobe for the man who values comfort as much as confidence, who appreciates timeless style without being confined by tradition, and who understands that what he wears should bring him closer to peace.
